Refunds and Returns: Not a problem at Battery Liquidator!
Our return policy spans 30 days from the date of receiving your item, during which you can request a return. To qualify for a return, the item must be in its original condition, unused, and with all tags, accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase.
To initiate a return, contact us at sales@batteryliquidator.com. If your return falls within the specified categories, our customer service team will issue a Return Authorization Number and provide detailed instructions. This number must be visibly marked on the exterior of the return package. Ensure the product is securely packed, and obtain a tracking number for monitoring during transit. Please note that we are not responsible for lost or damaged returns, and return shipping charges are the customer's responsibility.
The following categories are eligible for return:
- Order Number / Receipt Number
- Defective battery, charger, or items
- Charger used with the battery, or battery used with the charger
- Nature of the defect
If your return is accepted, you will receive instructions on how and where to send the package. Items sent without prior return requests will not be accepted. Return shipping and associated costs are the responsibility of the customer.
For damages or issues, inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. Exceptions to non-returnable items include perishable goods, custom products, personal care items, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Unfortunately, returns are not accepted for sale items or gift cards.
For exchanges, the quickest process is to return the original item and make a separate purchase for the desired item after the return is accepted.
European Union 14-day cooling-off period: If shipping to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days without justification, provided the item is in its original condition, unused, and with proof of purchase.
Unopened Merchandise and Opened, As-New Merchandise: Unopened merchandise with the original packaging and unused batteries may be returned within 30 days with a Return Authorization Number. Used batteries, damaged, tampered, or misused batteries cannot be accepted. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and a 20% restocking fee may apply to certain items.
Defective Merchandise - Warranties - Shipping Discrepancies: Defective or incorrectly shipped products must be returned within 7 days with a Return Authorization Number. Freight-shipped products with defects must not be signed for upon delivery. All shipping times are estimated, and refused orders may incur a loss of original shipping/handling fees. Product warranty begins according to the manufacturer's terms.
Merchandise that has been Modified: Modifying merchandise voids the warranty, and all warranties are as per the manufacturer's terms. Any modifications should adhere to the manufacturer's guidelines.
Storing your AGM battery: When storing AGM batteries, recharge them, store in a ventilated, cool, and dry place, and avoid discharging.
Do not overcharge the AGM battery: Correct charging is crucial to prevent damage to AGM batteries. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the correct voltage and avoid using traditional petrol generators for charging.
Sulfation prevention: Keep AGM batteries charged to prevent sulfation. Desulfation charging or using recommended chargers can help reverse sulfation.
Use the manufacturer’s recommended charger: Each AGM battery has a recommended charger, and using the wrong one can cause damage. Manufacturer-recommended chargers ensure the correct voltage without undercharging or overcharging.
Shipping Discrepancies: Report shipping discrepancies or damage within 2 business days of delivery. Failure to report voids warranties and insurance. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.
Heavy Batteries that Require Freight: Unused freight-shipped batteries may be returned within 30 days, subject to a 20% restocking fee. Freight costs are nonrefundable.
Shipments Damaged in Transit: Report damaged items within 3 business days of shipment arrival. Hold original packaging, provide pictures, and follow our guidelines for lost or stolen merchandise.
Refunds: Once we receive and inspect your return, you'll be notified of the approval, and refunds will be processed within 1-5 business days. Contact us if more than 15 business days have passed since the return approval.
